Treble Cone Update
This week not only is Cardrona looking good, but it's good friend and neighbor Treble Cone is looking mighty fine also! Check out all that snow :) They have snow making running on the lower mountain also (not like they need it!).

Cardrona Opening Weekend
Cardrona was a tad windy on opening day this Saturday, but the resort really turned on the goodness for Sunday! Sunday was an epic day, with Cardrona literally wall to wall with groomed corduroy! It looks like mid-season at the resort, which is thanks to all the early snowfalls we have had. Cardrona have been working hard over the summer on earth works making trails wider, and the access road safer. They also purchased some fancy new CATS (Groomers) that have a type of 'sonar' so they can tell how deep the snow pack is! Incredible!

Epic start to the New Zealand winter with Polar Blasts - 2015
Winter has arrived in New Zealand with the perfect polar blast! And better yet, this was promptly followed by a second polar blast, leaving ski resorts literally drowning in snow!
A thick blanket of that gorgeous white stuff now covers all the resorts in the South Island! I honestly think the ski resorts have not looked in better shape this early before. The towns are buzzing with excitement, and the local all have huge grins. Winter is here for 2015!
