Sochi Olympics 2014 - New Zealand Athletes

The New Zealand Winter Olympic team 2014 is now confirmed! These athletes have made enormous sacrifices to get where they are today – and we send out a HUGE congratulations to everyone named in the team today. You are all awesome!

So, here is a quick overview of the New Zealand team and when to watch out for them. Our inside local knowledge (note they all almost all from Wanaka!) tells us that ALL these athletes are the ones to watch – so lets get cheering! There are also 3 other New Zealand Winter Olympic team members who are competing in non-ski and snowboard sports. We also want to cheer them on too! They are Katharine Eustace, Wanaka - Skeleton, Ben Sanford, Rotorua - Skeleton and Shane Dobin - Ice Speed Skate Long Track.
