Our exciting, one week Wanaka Adventure explores the fabulous commercial ski areas of the world renowned Southern Lakes region. These skifields offer a variety of terrain to suit every level of rider and are equipped with high speed chairlifts and quality terrain parks. They are famous for their spectacular views, reliable snow, and consistently sunny weather. Our Wanaka Adventure Tour will introduce you to some of the best skiing that Australasia has to offer.

The Wanaka Adventure is a tour which is suitable for all levels of riders. The tour departs from Queenstown on a Sunday where your host will pick you up from the airport or any Queenstown accommodation. The snowrider minivan will then take you to the breathtaking ski town of Wanaka via the Crown Range Road and Cardrona Valley. After stopping off for supplies we will then head to our warm lodge where you can chill out in the lounge, pop on some music, and get amped about your adventure in the Southern Alps.
We will have five days on snow throughout the week (weather dependent) with the decision on which mountain to ride made daily. Based on the groups abilities and desires, and current snow and weather conditions, we will experience the resorts on the best days they have to offer ensuring maximum fun!! There is an extra day included in the week which allows for a weather day if the lifts are closed, or a spare day for checking out the town, relaxing at a spa, or trying out one of the many adventure activites that makes the Wanaka and Queenstown area famous worldwide.

Our Southern Lakes liftpass is valid at Cardrona, Treble Cone, Ohau, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Snow Park. This flexibility allows you to spend your week riding a variety of mountains. These skifields are the most commercial in the South Island, so there are high speed chairlifts to whisk you back up to the top after every run. It also means that there are plenty of groomed runs and top quality terrain parks and halfpipes for your riding pleasure!
Clients travel comfortably in our Toyota Super Custom Hiace 4WD vehicles which are well equipped for mountain driving. Your guide is a commercially licensed driver and experienced in handling the winter road conditions. All guides are qualified snow enthusiasts with years of specific snow employment as instructors and guides and a high level of knowledge of the local region and snow conditions. To ensure personal attention for our guests and to maximise the unique experience, we limit the spaces available on our tours to a maximum of seven clients per vehicle.
The NZST Wanaka Adventure includes:
- Personal tour guide, driver, and friend.
- 5 day multi-mountain liftpass.
- 7 nights private lodge accommodation (private or twin share).
- Complimentary cooked breakfast served daily.

- Return Queenstown transfers (transfers from Christchurch available for an additional charge).
