Simon Slater

Born in Liverpool, UK, Simon was a late starter on the snow. Having been convinced by friends to join them on a ski trip to France in his late 20’s he fell in love with the mountains and has never looked back. He certainly has made up for lost time however, and has skied on some of the best mountains in Europe, America and Canada.

Me Make Fire! Me Make Fire! After deciding to quit his 9-5 sales job in London he moved to Queenstown, New Zealand to pursue his new career on the snow. He spent a season at Coronet Peak training for his instructors qualification. He has since done seasons as an qualified ski instructor in Colorado USA, Mt Ruapehu on the North Island of New Zealand, and guiding at the big daddy of them all - Chamonix Mont-Blanc in the French Alps.

When not on snow Simon loves nothing more than chillin' with a beer and watching the football on TV, especially if Man U lose!!

"We skied with Simon in Chamonix and his expert guiding had the right balance of fun and a challenge. His knowledge of the slopes, lifts, cafes and restaurants ensured we made optimum use of every precious minute on the slopes. I recommend his services to anyone"
Roger, Yorkshire, UK
