Time to hit the Beach!

So our season has officially finished!  We know this because there is no one at the house, I haven’t been to the airport for almost 2 weeks, and erm... it’s absolutely puking down.  Just as most people were talking about moving on, playing some golf, and enjoying the lake, it started to dump down big time.  At the time of writing Cardies are reporting 30cm overnight with forecast for more snow in the next 5 days.  So it looks like spring has been kicked in to touch faster than a politician with a fake passport!

As you may have noticed, this is our first blog for a long while! Our plan at the start of the season was to update on a regular basis but unfortunately, a severly broken collarbone by our new guide Claire a week before our first guests arrived meant that we were kept super busy taking care of everything ourselves. Snowboarding, skiing, driving, and taking care of all of our wonderful guests doesn't leave an awful amount of time for any blogging action!!  We will hopefully be more on it from now on in so you should start seeing pictures, videos and blogs all about your trip!

Once again we had an excellent season with some faces from last year rebooking and some new clients checking out the NZ Snow Tours service for the first time.  We had some great feedback about our new lodges and everyone seemed to think that the lodges in Wanaka and Craigieburn were a serious home away from home.  As always we love to hear from you about any improvements we can make to our service and your overall enjoyment.  We will look into the hot tub on a trailor suggestion but I can’t promise anything!!

Many of you really liked the fact we now have some kicking merchandise that you can buy for a small fee.  If you didn’t manage to pick up a beanie or a hoodie (in any colour you like as long as it’s purple!) let us know as we have a few left!  You can see the hoodie modeled in the photo by Alastair who now has 15 pins holding his hand together after the crash of the season at Porters three weeks ago. We have already had some suggestions for the sort of stuff you want, tee shirts, caps, and of course beer can coolers (for the Australians amongst us), but feel free to throw some more suggestions at us.

That's all we've got time for now, we are waiting for the sun to come out and then we’re off to ski/ride in shed loads of fresh stuff. Huge thanks to everyone this year who came out and made this season our most enjoyable so far.

Til Next Time
